The spirit of sacrifice, compassion, and solidarity was brought to life through a successful Qurban collaboration between MYCARE Malaysia and the Rohingya Youths Support Network (RYSN) during the 2026 Qurban season.

Through MYCARE's generous contribution, vulnerable refugee and underserved communities were able to experience the blessings of Eid al-Adha in a meaningful way. The initiative provided much needed support to families facing economic hardship and food insecurity, ensuring that they could participate in the celebration with dignity and hope.

The program was implemented through close cooperation between MYCARE, RYSN volunteers, and community leaders. Extensive planning and coordination were carried out to ensure that the slaughtering, preparation, packaging, and distribution processes were conducted efficiently, safely, and respectfully.

Beyond the distribution of Qurban meat, the initiative served as a powerful reminder of the importance of compassion and humanitarian support. For many beneficiaries, the assistance represented more than material aid, it symbolized inclusion, care, and the reassurance that they are not forgotten during challenging times.

Recognizing the values of generosity and social responsibility that underpin the Qurban tradition, the program also embraced an inclusive approach by extending support to other vulnerable individuals and communities identified as being in need. This effort helped foster goodwill, strengthen social cohesion, and encourage positive relationships among diverse communities.

The success of the initiative was made possible through the dedication of volunteers and community members who contributed their time, energy, and commitment throughout the process. Their collective efforts ensured that assistance reached those who needed it most in a timely and dignified manner.

This collaboration also highlights the value of partnerships between humanitarian organizations and refugee-led organizations. By combining resources, expertise, and community networks, both MYCARE and RYSN were able to maximize the impact of their efforts and deliver meaningful support to vulnerable populations.

RYSN extends its sincere appreciation to MYCARE Malaysia for its trust, generosity, and continued commitment to serving marginalized communities. The positive impact of this collaboration has not only provided immediate relief but has also strengthened the partnership between both organizations.

As humanitarian needs continue to evolve, collaborations such as this demonstrate how collective action can create lasting positive change. Together, MYCARE and RYSN remain committed to bringing hope, dignity, and support to communities in need while fostering a spirit of unity and compassion for all.
